Dance didactics and Dance Pedagogy Practicum
Trude Haugland started her educational at Fagerborg High School, Kirkenær-linjen, went on to London Studio Centre 1991-1992 and got her degree from The Norwegian College of Dance 1994-1997. She has contributed both as teacher and dancer in several productions, In Transit og Bulk by Tharan Revfem, Hit Awards and the MOT tours in Noway / With one voice against violence. At the same time she taught at numerous ballet schools like Bajazz Ballet studio, Aktivum Treningsenter, Jorunn Kirkenær Ballet school, Art Musical school, and Stage Door i Tønsberg. I 2000 Trude bacame manager at Terpsi Dance Studio and then got a permanent position. in 2014 she took a masters degree at the Oslo and Akershus College (HIAK), (the title of the thesis was: "Two learning perspectives in jazz dance - From shape averaging influenced dance lessons to process oriented learning focus." She also completed the study programme on "Cultural Entrepreneurship" at the Academy of Music in spring 2015. At NDH she teaches jazz dance and didactics and is responsible for our practicums in dance pedagogy. Trude is currently doing a master in pedagogy at HIAK which she will complete next year.
